Memory foam, also called visco-elastic foam, is a completely special foam, because unlike other foams it does not rebound. Visco-elastic foam is also heat-sensitive, which gives it amazing properties. It molds your body, takes its shape and supports you with equal forces at all points of the body. The BALTHAZAR memory foam mattress is composed of a top layer of viscoelastic foam to softly wrap your body, a layer of Nuage Extrasoft foam for excellent support for your back and a bottom layer of high resilience foam to balance the comfort of the mattress and guarantee sleeping independence, which allows you not to feel your partner's movements. The BALTHAZAR foam mattress provides better support by better relieving the pressure points that cause restless nights and facilitates blood circulation thanks to transcutaneous pressure points.

Maintenance tips
Mattress with or without cover:
  1. Wash the cover regularly
    Your mattress cover plays a vital role in keeping it clean and fresh. Make sure to wash your cover at least once every two months, or more frequently if necessary. Use warm water and a mild detergent to remove stains and odors. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's washing instructions to avoid any damage to the cover.
  2. Use a mattress protector
    Even if your mattress doesn't have a removable cover, you can still protect its surface by using a mattress protector. Choose a waterproof mattress protector to prevent spills, stains, and dirt. Make sure the mattress protector fits your mattress well for maximum protection.
  3. Vacuum regularly
    Even without a removable cover, you can keep your mattress clean by vacuuming it regularly. Use a vacuum cleaner with an attachment designed for upholstered surfaces to remove dust particles, allergens, and dust mites from the surface of the mattress. Do this at least once a month for best results.
  4. Clean stains immediately
    If you accidentally spill something on your mattress, act quickly to prevent the stain from setting. Use a clean, damp cloth to gently dab the stain. Avoid rubbing, as this can cause the stain to penetrate deeper. If necessary, use a stain remover that is suitable for the type of stain being treated.
  5. Ventilate regularly
    To prevent odors and moisture from building up, air out your mattress regularly. Remove the sheets and let the mattress air out for a few hours. This will help reduce moisture and eliminate unwanted odors.
  6. Turn the mattress
    If your mattress is reversible, rotate it every few months to distribute wear evenly. This will help maintain its shape and firmness.
  7. Protect it from pets
    If you have pets, make sure they do not scratch or chew the mattress. Use a special mattress cover or mattress protector if necessary.
