At BED REPUBLIC, our goal is to help you enjoy the best, while consuming better.
We offer you the best products you can find in a bedroom: bed linen, mattresses, pillows, duvets, mattress toppers, bath towels... while making them accessible, durable and risk-free.
We achieve this because we work with the same quality and products as those used by luxury hotels...
But with a controlled price.
You want to know if we're professionals or not, and if we're masters of our subject? Excellent question.
Originally, it's the story of 4 friends who were looking for a really good mattress... that was in 2017!
And they asked themselves a basic question: where do you buy a good mattress without breaking your savings account? We don't know...
Because in stores, nothing was worth it.
It's quite a story, this "quest for perfect sleep."
Among these 4 people at the origin of the BED REPUBLIC project, each has their specialty: marketing, sales/supply chain, accounting, and products/quality.
Without modesty, yes we know our stuff: with over 15 years of experience in retail and furniture, we can say we "handle it."
And one day in our old jobs, we got tired of always hearing the same thing: cost reduction = product quality reduction, to always sell more products!
That had to change.
So we all left our respective jobs for Bed Republic. And since then, we sleep better, except when we receive a bunch of orders to process... But that's a good kind of sleep deprivation!
That was early 2018.
Bed Republic - today, it's a whole chain of people working on this project: this worker who sculpts fabrics with her scissors, this technician who puts the finishing touch on a freshly produced sheet, this delivery person who goes with their truck to gather all the week's orders...
So yes, we promise... we'll take a photo when we manage to gather the approximately 300 people who work directly or indirectly on the project.
We're not reinventing anything.
We're just taking a good product – from Europe – that has been working for years, we test it and adjust it using the best possible quality, and then we offer it to you.
Sheets that last, a mattress that makes you regret not sleeping at home this weekend… That’s what we want.
We are against disposable products that push you to buy, again and again...
We don't manufacture thousands of products and then sell them to you; we manufacture a product because you need it, because you ordered it!
Like in luxury or tailor-made, we manufacture for you, on demand.
This is what allows us to offer you a super high-quality product and reduce its costs.

At Bed Republic, everything happens in Europe – that's our choice, that's our commitment.
We could go and improve our margins on the other side of the world. NO.
We have a different vision: to create a quality product that will last. Since that's becoming rare, we're all for it.
To do this, we find the best craftspeople, and they are in Europe (you just have to travel a bit...).
• Paris: our headquarters, our team, our customer service, and our marketing.
• Bordeaux: our factory for upholstered bed bases, headboards, and high-end mattresses.
• Lille: our logistics depot
Why France? Because, first of all, we're French!
We have expertise in high-end bedding in France that we can't let go to waste! Upholstered bed bases, for example, there's no comparison: in France, we are the best...
• Krakow: our purchasing and product development office.
• Wroclaw: our furniture and bed factory
Why Poland? Because it's THE country that has become the undisputed European leader since the 2000s in the manufacturing of furnishing products. The quality is excellent, the beds last and don't break like Asian productions... all while maintaining a controlled price.
• Valencia: our factory for mattresses, pillows, duvets, and bed protection.
Why Spain? Because of the expertise in mattress manufacturing and materials... which allows us to have a superb quality product without skyrocketing the price!
And for mattress protectors, it has reached perfection; VERY well-known "world-famous" brands prefer to source there rather than in Asia...
• Porto: our factory for bed linen and towels.
Why Portugal? If you're looking for quality textile products, that's the place! They are the best in the world... luxury brands are not mistaken, as they manufacture in the North region (hey, like us!?).
So yes, it's more expensive than in Asia... fully justified by the quality of the products: NO comparison! It's qualitative, it lasts, it washes and rewashes, it lasts (yes, yes, we get it) and will last over time...
Because we believe in the power of local, transparency, and Made in Europe quality.
